DOWNLOAD Drum Tracks and Backing Tracks to use in your eJamming Sessions // 2008-04-27

eJamming has created sets of MIDI drum tracks and MIDI backing tracks you can use in your eJamming Sessions.  Here's information how to download and use them.

BETA 13 RELEASED! // 2008-03-11

The new eJamming AUDiiO Beta 13 is all about RECORDING. Making it easier, more powerful and just plain better. Beta 13’s changes are:

  • SEND SONG now allows THREE DIFFERENT SPEEDS to allow for quick file transfers when audio quality is not a major concern.
  • You can now have up to 16 AUDIO TRACKS in an eJamming Session.
  • You can now RECORD FROM ANY POINT IN THE TIMELINE to any other point in the timeline, allowing you to fix up one or several sections of a track if necessary, or allowing you to start recording just before the instrument comes in instead of waiting from the beginning of the track to record a part at bar 200. Every piece of audio eJamming records is called a “Take”.  This will be important later because it means that eJamming AUDiiO now has totally non-destructive recording.
  • We also added in-depth TAKE MANAGEMENT in eJamming AUDiiO, allowing you to delete any takes you have already recorded, choose to play any of the takes on a track, or choose to play none of them. This allows you to record several takes of one section, and then later choose the one to keep.
  • We added a way to select ANY available audio output to accommodate people with multi-output sound cards.
  • When a player leaves a session, the tracks belonging to that player are RE-ASSIGNED to the session leader

NOTE: BETA 13 IS INCOMPATIBLE WITH EARLIER VERSIONS OF EJAMMING AUDIIO - YOU MUST DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL BETA 13

Elton John needs to know about eJamming says Techdirt // 2007-08-02

Mike Masnick responds to Elton John's suggestion to close down the Internet for 5 years: "I guess no one has clued him into the fact that the internet is a communications medium, and it's generally used more to connect people than to isolate them. He also is apparently unaware of a growing number of tools that actually let musicians collaborate online, such as eJamming."

We may be real innovative, but we can't change the laws of physics - yet.  eJamming AUDiiO manages the sonic delays in the Internet and synchronizes everybody's audio together, but we can't get rid of delays completely.
