I want to connect with friends and we want to manually set each of our delays. Do we all set the sync to the same setting?

Answer: No - the way to do it is to first set the Live Sync to Manual (Preferences> Session tab) by clicking the Manual radio button, and then set your Sync Setting value manually. We recommend raising the setting to the highest number and then reducing it step-by-step until you hear audio dropouts (what we call "crackling") caused by network delays or traffic. At that point, Increase the Sync Setting up one notch, and then adapt your own playing by playing ahead of the beat so you hear your own notes synchronized with the other musicians through your headphones.
